ANOTHER revision to Slaughter Summit Sponsors

Well, folks, those Slaughter Summit leaders just can’t stop recruiting more horse haters and slaughter lovers to join them, to sponsor their blood fest in Vegas next week. See the latest list below, taken directly from the Slaughter Summit web site,  and note a couple of interesting new sponsors:

RAIN DANCER VIDEOS – hmmm, one has to wonder if perhaps this is the video consultant who will be gifted with the contract to install 24/7 live video cams at Wallis’s dream horse slaughter-house. Perhaps Rain Dancer is more of a “participant” than the public realizes…. you just never know.

MANTLE RANCHES – another BLM contractor joining in to sing the praises of slaughtering America’s horses. This one is a “wild horse gentler” and is likely one of the “cowboys” who think the only  good Wild Horse is a “gentled” one under a saddle and would like to see the rest slaughtered and off public lands so the ranchers can fill it completely with cattle.

Oh, and just for good measure to keep that exploding US horse population under control, Mantle also appears to be a AQHA breeder. After all, the frenzied breeding promotional efforts of the registry that pushes to “achieve record numbers” such as 140,000 AQHA foals born annually in America versus a total of perhaps only 20,000 wild mustangs left on the range is something Mantel avidly supports via his promotion of AQHA horses. Don’t ya know those breeders have to cull out all those “garbage” AQHA foals born too, send ’em off to slaughter so they can “recoup” their expenses, even after they’ve been given toxic drugs banned for food animals due to carcinogenic properties. Who cares if the little foals or the discarded yearlings and 2 to 3 year olds are living feeling beings? They turned out to be the wrong color or not perfect enough to get a blue ribbon in some yahoo cowboy contest in a ring or they stupidly got themselves hurt in the “humane” training done before they even reached adulthood. Who cares if the people who’ll eat them get cancer?

Sure is funny how this is all tied up together with a big bow, eh? BLM and their contractors, ranchers, breed registries like AQHA and ApHC, kill buyers and auction houses, trophy hunters and so-called range aficionados who’d like to see only trophy animals on the range for their selfish hunting desires – all a motley crew of despicable characters with little to no compassion for animals as they trumpet their “caring” for horses in an event designed to elevate and promote horse slaughter as an answer for horse population problems they themselves create. Amazing….

Very interesting article here too that talks about how some of the sponsors are requesting their names be removed or in some cases claiming they were never sponsors but that they were “elevated” to that position by desperate Summit organizers. Here’s a quote from the article:

Even the renowned slaughter plant designer, Temple Grandin, has informed Equine Welfare Alliance that she has instructed Ms. Wallis to stop using her name.

In an interview with Horseback Magazine, Dr. Grandin said “They kind of were misrepresenting my involvement.”

Wow, so Sponsors and Speakers are not all hunky dory with the idea of having their names attached to the rabid promotional efforts of the Slaughter Queen and King.  Who would have dreamed it?  Well, we are going to keep a record right here on this blog of all the names who must have at onetime told old Queenie that they backed her bloody killing plant plans in order to be honored as Slaughter Summit supporters.  You will always be able to come see the names of those who hate horses and who want to see them slaughtered and eaten by visiting this blog and looking through the archives.  We hope you will, especially when you are considering a purchase of any kind in order to avoid patronizing these blights on mankind. Sue Wallis Spins Further Out of Control, Wyoming and America Notices

A little diversion now, a few side notes to this business of sharing the names of the people and businesses to boycott, those who are supporting the Slaughter celebration in Vegas. Sue Wallis and Dave Duquette share the dream of slaughtering horses, most certainly to line their pockets and they’ve apparently embarked on a new phase in their plans: line up sources of horses they can slaughter.  Check this out, making the rounds this week, an unsolicited email apparently sent by Sue Wallis but written under Dave’s name, it targeted most every horse rescue in the America in an attempt to find horses for their slaughter plan. Here’s the reaction of just one well respected rescue, Angel Acres. Firecracker and horse savior, Jo, at Angel Acres, closes on this note (warning, put down your beverages now or we will not be responsible for your keyboard damage):

“I got two words for your program there Slaughterhouse Sue Wallis and Dave D. and they rhyme with DUCK SHOE!”

Another interesting report comes from RT Fitch today, where he writes about the cyclone of disgust and fury the citizens of Wyoming are expressing now that ol’ Sue is ramping up her promo activities for this Slaughter party and her ongoing obsession with horse meat and blood and bones and…… well, you get the picture. At any rate, Wyomingites are becoming more informed about the unsavory appetites and fascinations of this rogue legislator, hopping mad their elected official Wallis is seemingly determined to ruin the state’s image in the tourism and high technology arena, both vital to their economy. They’re also not too happy about her ongoing crusades apparently focused on making obscure and irrational food laws to benefit herself while ignoring the rest of the state’s needs. One even referred to Sue Wallis as one of “a few “radical fringe” zealots.” and another opined: “Local leaders need to tell her to go away — in no uncertain terms.”

While advocates and horse lovers have known for a long time that Sue appears to have a screw loose , it’s becoming increasing clear to even average citizens outside the horse community that Wallis and her perverse horse meat production/slaughter program is truly on the “radical fringe”. What is really quite troubling is to consider that the head of the BLM’s Wild Horse & Burro program, Bob Abbey, a highly paid program director for crying out loud, has accepted an invitation to speak at this SlaughterFest. What on earth does he expect to impart to these bloodthirsty horse haters and what does he expect to get out of it?

We can predict that he and the BLM will get a lot more flack from a lot more Americans because his participation in such a despicable farce put on by such twisted extremists only confirms he shares their very twisted views on horses. Why else would one associate themselves with these kinds of fringe dwellers? This terribly poor judgment is certainly not going to do anything to allay the very real ongoing concerns of wild horse advocates who find the BLM is mismanaging wild horses quickly into extinction and doing so brutally and inhumanely while stomping Americans’ First Amendment rights.

Coming from the head of the very agency charged with protecting America’s wild horses and burros, but which has an extremely dismal record on the job,  it’s puzzling why Abbey would get thick as thieves with this bunch of bloodthirsty slaughter lovers and wild horse haters. It’s so puzzling, we have to wonder if Abbey has been checked for dementia or if he’s a paid puppet just dancing and singing as he’s been instructed. If he’s not mentally ill, the next logical question would be: whose paid puppet?

Boycott the Sponsors of Horse Slaughter Summit II

Well, well, well, the list of sponsors seems to change daily. Our last report updated you on early December and mid-December sponsor listings. We’ll continue to report the latest incarnations reflecting new names and dropped names right here . Check below for the latest versions.

Even though some of the dropped names are no longer formally connected to this slaughter fest by appearing on this latest list, certainly we know that, at one point, those prior sponsors intended to support this revolting revelry centered on someone’s sick penchant for horse-flesh. We can’t conceive of the money-grubbing organizers of this event giving away free sponsorships, so there had to have been some kind of commitment or promise of one to get listed as a sponsor.

Be sure to check out those older lists of sponsors in this post right here so you don’t forget the names of any of those earlier sponsors. Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe to this blog so you will be fully informed about who else does not deserve your business given they support this ugly farce called the Slaughter Summit and everything it stands for. Once subscribed, you’ll get an email whenever a new post appears here.

Boycott Contributors to the United Organizations of the Horse

For more detail on the history of the Summit and how it’s connected to via its organizers to the United Organizations of the Horse (UOH), there’s a little history review here.

For the first year UOH was around, they published their list of Slaughter Supporters (actually they called it “Ban Opposition” – those opposed to the ban of slaughter & cruel transport). The list also indicated which of those named individuals, businesses and organization had made contributions to UOH. Below is the list of names we suggest boycotting, names which are displayed in BOLD and the UOH website states that all those BOLD names contributed to UOH.

The entire list is enlightening because there are MANY non-contributors also listed as being slaughter supporters. We suppose UOH is not as popular as they’d like us to think or else the vast majority of those names would also be BOLD in “honor” of their contribution to UOH….

Take a good look though as the page is rife with Beef councils, Cattlemen’s groups,  Pork producers, Quarter Horse associations, Shipping companies, Auction yards, Horse councils, Farm Bureaus, and many other interesting groups including some zoos, rodeos and other types of farmers. Here is the link to that page of contributing slaughter supporters and other slaughter supporters as shown on the old UOH site: http://www.unitedorgsofthehorse.org/old_site/index_files/banopposition.htm

If for some reason this link goes bad (hmmm, wonder why that would happen?), there are copies of the page and we’ll post those copies for education and verification instead.  Don’t forget to share this important information with all your friends so everyone will know who supports the slaughter of America’s horses and who doesn’t deserve even one penny of your business or support……

Boycott the Leaders of Horse Slaughter Summit Organizers & a Little History

A little history: “Slaughterhouse”* Sue Wallis and her sidekick, Dave “Doink”* Duquette dreamed up their initial fantasy group of fellow slaughter lovers and called it “”United Organizations of the Horse” (UOH) a couple of years ago.  They added these affiliated groups they called “United Horsemen”(UH, previously “United Horsemen’s Front”) and “Unified Equine”(UE).  A “Founding Leadership Team” for UOH populated with a cadre of cronies commenced to salivating over their plans (a little literary license there – we didn’t actually see the salivating) to slaughter unwanted horses, excess horses, old horses, cull horses, abandoned horses, sick horses, injured horses, barren horses, race horses, work horses, pet horses, wild horses, basically any horses they could get their hands on.

They crowed on their website over their plans to “provide healthful meat” and mention was even made of providing it to prisoners, school children and old age pensioners in Wyoming. Some of their more devout followers piped up on public Facebook pages and other places online about sending horse meat to Haiti and Africa, insinuating it would be a gift of mercy, food for the hungry. None of their proclamations addressed the very real fact that American horses are given medications that render their flesh TOXIC FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.  To consume this “healthful meat” is to ask for cancer and many other lethal diseases and to give it to human beings in need is just completely unethical and despicable.  It’s like saying, “You’re poor and hungry but here’s some carcinogenic horse meat for you!” Could one dream up a more diabolical nightmare cloaked as “charity” than this? To date, Slaughterhouse Sue refuses to accept the scientifically validated facts and presses on with her quest to kill horses and hold her bloody Slaughter Summit. Ironically, while writing this piece, I found this from today’s news:  Small Town Politician Talks Junk Science and Gets Stung By Scientist . Lots of detail there on the studies, the science, the facts and the foot in the mouth of Slaughterhouse Sue.

Let’s get down to business then, another list of names and businesses to boycott……… Presenting for your information the list of the FOUNDING LEADERSHIP TEAM of UNITED ORGANIZATIONS OF THE HORSE according to the UH/Summit website @12/15/10. Inviting Collaboration and Information Sharing

While all the names disclosed here in our posts will come from publicly announced, previously published sources, we ENCOURAGE READERS TO LEAVE COMMENTS FURTHER IDENTIFYING THESE SLAUGHTER LOVERS AND WILD HORSE HATERS. Let’s share more about the people behind the company names, employees, owners, clients. Let’s get it all out there.

We do not encourage exposing personal information such as address or phone or names of minor children and we certainly do not condone harassment, illegal acts of any kind or any form of unwanted contact. We take no responsibility for copying and distributing previously published facts about the identity of people and businesses that support this Summit and the cruel greedy business of slaughter and the reprehensible extermination of wild horses in the wild.

What we do support is sharing of any details related to the business operations and dealings, partners, etc.. Let’s make it crystal clear exactly which individuals and businesses should feel the loss of our business as a direct result of their support for slaughter and lack of support for wild horses. There is no better way to make a statement than through our purchases, our support and through networking our recommendations about both good and bad businesses.

The more we know, the better we can avoid spending one red cent with these brutal slaughter obsessed “people”. Many of them despise us but would still  like for all of us who advocate for horses to blindly line their pockets for them by patronizing their “day” businesses. They’d like us to buy their horse feed, supplies, tack, fencing, barns, training, clinics, horses, stallion services, insurance, vehicles, homes, construction services, artwork, music, books, poetry, advertising, marketing services, magazines, DVDs, online subscriptions, beef, lamb, dogs, travel services, vacation packages and more.

Some of these Summit supporters have some nice products and services to offer, but there are alternatives offered by humane and ethical businesses that can use our support. We do have a choice and when we KNOW YOU ARE A WILD HORSE HATER or A SLAUGHTER LOVER, well, WE WON’T PATRONIZE YOU. We’re simply not going to help you make a living and we’ll TELL OUR FRIENDS about you too.

When you stand for something as abhorrent as horse slaughter and the destruction of America’s precious living history, the wild horses, you’d better be prepared to buck up under the feedback and the fallout, which includes a direct hit to your sales. Advocates do not support wild horse haters and slaughter lovers, period.

Whining is not going to work: WE WILL Vote with our Dollars

It was bound to happen. It was amazing, though, to have it happen so quickly. Must have hit a nerve….

We knew we’d have nasty comments and threats coming from some of the slaughter lovers and wild horse haters but we just didn’t imagine they’d begin immediately. Less than 24 hours after these first two posts which include the lists of sponsors and speakers published by the Slaughter Summit we received our first nasty-gram from one Judi L who writes:

  • ” ‘XYZ Company’ promotes the life of the Mustangs not the death of them. Get your information right before slandering someone.”

We advocate boycotting those businesses – and their owners and principals – who support the agenda of the slaughter lovers and wild horse haters throwing the big bloody bash in Las Vegas ever so slyly named “The Summit of the Horse”. Even though the name sounds innocuous, the agenda for this Summit is clear: promote slaughter and massive further reduction of wild horses in the wild, it’s all stated on the Summit website.

So it seems Judi L. was bellyaching about public information taken DIRECTLY from the Slaughter Summit website! If this is her business, it’s rather silly and self-defeating to fight one’s own purchased promotional effort.  After all, we’re pretty sure the Summit boss and underboss would not be giving away tickets nor free promotion as “Sponsor” unless financial contributions to the cause of the Summit were made by this business. Based on the Summit Registration page, we can only assume that several hundred dollars crossed the palms of the blood thirsty managers of this event in order for  ‘XYZ Company’ to be “honored” by being listed as a Sponsor of the Slaughter Summit.

Suffice it to say, that if this business – or ANY business or individual – does not want to be associated with the disgusting agendas of the Summit promoters, well, then….
…….

they should
…….
…….
…….
wait for it
…….
…….
…….
…….just
…….
…….not
…….
…….attend or
…….
…….sponsor or
…….
…….speak at the Summit,
…….
…….Nor
…….
…….help promote
…….
…….the bloody slaughter plans and
…….
…….the promotion of feeding toxic horse meat to humans and pets and
…….
…….the accelerated annihilation of America’s Wild Horses by the BLM

It’s really quite simple:

Don’t want to be associated with the Summit of Slaughter and the horse meat obsessed people promoting it?

Then DON’T SPONSOR THEM, SPEAK AT THEIR SUMMIT, HELP THEM ORGANIZE, HELP THEM PROMOTE, ACTIVELY ADVOCATE FOR HORSE SLAUGHTER AND/OR WILD HORSE EXTERMINATION. If you do these things and it’s public knowledge, we will publicize that fact.

You can’t have it both ways – either you are for horse slaughter and wild horse extermination or you’re not. We’re pretty sure that if you are not with them, your name will not end up being touted as a supporter, sponsor, speaker, leader involved with this disgusting Slaughter Summit. If your name is there, we are publishing it so Americans can show how they feel about your betrayal of America’s horses by not patronizing you and your business. We vote with our dollars, which is, after all, the American way.
